Privacy Policy

How Mintapp collects, uses and protects the information you share with us through this website.
Effective and last updated: August 15, 2026

Who we are

Mintapp is a digital product studio based in Egypt, building websites and mobile apps for founders and growing businesses across the MENA region. This policy covers the personal information we collect through the Start a Project form on this website, and how we handle it.

What we collect

When you submit the Start a Project form, we collect:

Full name and email — required
Company name, phone or WhatsApp — optional
Country, project type, budget range and timeline — optional, where asked
Your project description — required
Your preferred meeting date and time — required to book a meeting
How you heard about us, and basic technical details like which page you submitted from — collected automatically and used only in aggregate to understand what's working

Why we collect it

We use this information for one purpose: to understand your project, prepare properly and meet with you. We don't use it for advertising, and we don't build a marketing profile from it.

Preparing for our first meeting

Before we meet, our team reviews what you've shared and may sketch an initial direction — early thoughts on platform, scope or approach — to make the meeting useful from the first minute. This internal preparation is reviewed only by the Mintapp team. Nothing is automatically sent or shown to you before the meeting; where it's useful, we'll walk you through our thinking when we meet.

Who else may process your information

A few specialized services help us run this process. We only share what each one needs to do its job:

Service providers
SupabaseSecurely stores your inquiry
ResendSends internal email notifications, once activated
Cal.comHandles meeting scheduling for your discovery call
VercelHosts this website
Cloudflare TurnstileHelps prevent automated abuse of this form

Cloudflare Turnstile (listed above) processes limited browser and security signals to help confirm a submission isn't automated — it does not read what you write in the form. More detail is available in Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Notice.

Scheduling your meeting

Once we accept your inquiry, we show an inline scheduling tool from Cal.com so you can pick a time directly. Loading it causes your browser to connect directly to Cal.com's servers, which may receive technical details such as your IP address and browser information as part of that connection, governed by Cal.com's own privacy policy. To match the meeting you book back to your inquiry, we send Cal.com a signed reference containing your inquiry's identifier and the time it was issued. This reference is cryptographically signed, so it cannot be altered or forged — but it is not encrypted and is not a secret value. On its own it doesn't grant access to anything, since our database has no publicly reachable access policies. We don't send your name, email, company or project description to Cal.com as part of this reference.

What we don't do

We never sell your personal information. Access is limited to authorized Mintapp team members and the service providers listed above — only to the extent each needs it to do its job.

How long we keep it

If your inquiry doesn't turn into a project, we review it for deletion or anonymization within 12 to 24 months. If it does become a client engagement, we handle your information according to our agreement with you and whatever we're legitimately required to keep for business or accounting purposes.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information you've submitted at any time — write to us at the address below and we'll act on it. Deleting a record from active use isn't always the same as immediate permanent erasure from every backup; where that distinction matters, we'll explain it to you directly.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect your information — including access controls, and storage with a provider (Supabase) configured so only our server can write or read inquiry data, never a browser directly. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't promise absolute protection against every possible risk.

Where your information is processed

Our service providers operate infrastructure in multiple countries. Your information may be processed outside Egypt, or outside your own country, as a result. We choose providers that maintain their own security and privacy commitments.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not currently run analytics or tracking cookies. If we add optional analytics or similar tracking in the future, we'll update this policy first to explain what's added and why.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the way we work evolves. The date above reflects the most recent version.
