An electronics lab you can step into

CircuitsCraftVR/AR electronics game
A VR and AR game where players build real circuits in 3D space — picking components, placing them on a breadboard, programming the microcontroller that runs them, and trading finished circuits with other players.

The challenge

Learning electronics usually means buying parts before you know what works, and most simulators look like engineering software. In VR and AR there's a second problem: interfaces that float in space quickly crowd out the thing you're building.

Our approach

We kept the space almost empty and let the components be the interface: pick a part, place it on the breadboard in front of you, and watch the circuit come to life — with every panel appearing only when it's needed.

A real breadboard, in 3D
Parts sit on a recognisable breadboard, so what players build maps onto real hardware.
Code inside the game
A microcontroller code editor and a hexadecimal editor open as panels next to the board, not in another tool.
A player marketplace
Finished circuits can be listed for a fixed price or put up for auction.

Experience direction

One floating toolbar
Home, add, trade and more live in a single side rail that stays out of the player's view of the circuit.
A visual parts library
Resistors, LEDs, capacitors, transistors and more are picked by picture, not part number.
A dark, focused space
A dotted dark backdrop keeps attention on the components and their connections.

Design system

A near-black space with the components' own colours — red LEDs, blue capacitors — doing the visual work, and panels kept translucent and minimal.

Outcome
The design turns circuit building into a game a beginner can start right away: pick parts visually, place them on a breadboard, program the microcontroller, and share or sell the result.
