The challenge
Most task tools are built for large teams and come with a learning curve to match — boards, sprints, custom fields — when what a small team actually needs is a shared, current list of who's doing what.
Our approach
We stripped the feature set down to what a small team opens daily: assign, track, complete — and made sure that loop was fast enough to survive real daily use.
Assignment first
Every task has one clear owner and a due date from the moment it's created.
Status over structure
A simple status model instead of configurable workflows nobody sets up correctly.
Built for daily use
Fast enough to open ten times a day without feeling like overhead.
Experience direction
One list, not five views
A single prioritised list beats a dashboard of boards nobody maintains.
Due dates that surface themselves
What's overdue or due today sits at the top, unprompted.
Create a task in seconds
Title, owner, due date — done, with everything else optional.
Product screens
Compositions from the task list, assignment flow and team overview.
Design system
A calm teal against a light interface, with status colour doing the work that icons and labels usually do.
Outcome
What shipped is a task manager small teams open without being told to: fast task creation, visible ownership, and a status model simple enough that everyone actually keeps it up to date.
Sub-second task creation flow
Clear ownership on every task
A status model teams keep updated
